Career
In 2003, Adam Morrison began playing for the Gonzaga Bulldogs, his college team. He was chosen to the WCC All-Freshman team at the time. He began his professional career in 2006 when he was drafted by the Charlotte Bobcats in the NBA Draft. He signed a two-year contract with the team and made his debut with fourteen points. On October 21, 2007, he sustained a serious injury to his left knee. His knee required several months to repair, and as a result he missed the 2007-08 NBA season.
On February 7, 2009, Shannon Brown and Morrison were traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. He won two NBA titles in 2009 and 2010, respectively. In 2010, he signed with the Washington Wizards, then in September 2011, he signed with KK Crvena Zvezda. In November 2011, he was released from his contract to pursue other opportunities.
In January 2012, he signed with Besiktas Milangaz, but he left in April owing to a lack of playing time. He was selected to coach the men’s squad for the 2006 FIBA World Championship.
