FC Duttlenheim was where Arsène Wenger started his professional career in 1963. He continued to be a club member for the following six years. He joined Mutzig in 1969 and played for them for the following four years. In 1973, he started competing for Mulhouse. After that, he played for ASPV Strasbourg for three years beginning in 1975.
