It was in the middle of the 2000s when Ashley Williams and Dodson first met. The actress revealed in an Instagram post that they first met while she was working on a TV show and he was her assistant. She used the opportunity to tell Dodson how fast time had gone by and to wish him a happy Valentine’s Day. “Boom. We currently live in a @airbnb in Canada with our two kids. The pair wed on May 29, 2011, almost eight years after they first met. The wedding was hosted by her sister Kimberly Williams-Paisley and her brother-in-law, country musician Brad Paisley.

They have two youngsters.

Ashley Williams has two kids with her spouse. Gus Williams Dodson, the couple’s first child, was born on October 5, 2014. Gus, who was 20 inches long and 8 pounds, 8 ounces, was born at home. Three years later, Williams made a second pregnancy announcement on Twitter.

His birthday coincides with his father’s. Odie’s middle name Sal comes from the main character of Robert McCloskey’s children’s books Blueberries for Sal and One Morning in Maine, and his first name Odie is derived from Dodson’s great-grandfather, Dodson.

Two months after the birth of Ashley Williams’s first son, Ashley Williams miscarried in the summer of 2016. Williams published a personal post on Medium after learning about the stigma associated with miscarriages and going through one herself. To lessen the stigma of miscarriage and encourage women to talk openly about it, she also worked with the Human Development Project to share her story in public.
