When Platt made his stage debut in the musical The Music Man at the age of nine, his career officially began. When he was eleven years old, he made his subsequent appearance. When he was 17 years old, he made an appearance in a Kidz Theatre rendition of Les Miserables. In 2012, he was given a role in the Book of Mormon play, which ran from December 2012 to October 2013.
