When Chris relocated to Phoenix and began delivering mozzarella cheese to a pizza shop, his life was forever altered. Before attempting to make a pizza in a wooden pizza oven, he had the opportunity to learn about catering operations. When Cosco, a catering event attendant, saw him making pizza in the wood oven, he offered him a small space in the shop’s corner to sell and make pizza. On the opposite corner from the grocery store, he began offering clients Margherita, Marinara, and one special pizza. His pizza immediately gained acclaim throughout the city. Later, in 1988, he got the idea to develop his pizza-making abilities so that he could turn them into a full-time, well-paying career.
Chris Bianco then put forth a lot of effort to accumulate money so that he could travel to Italy and develop his pizza-making skills. To finish his studies, he took a flight to Italy for six months. He relocated to Santa Fe, New Mexico, after coming home and spent three years working at an Italian eatery there. He relocated back to Phoenix in 1994 when he opened Pizzeria Bianco in the Town & Country Shopping Center Mall.
