Christopher Nicholas Sarantakos, better known by his stage name Criss Angel, was born on December 19, 1967, in Hempstead, New York, to Dimitra and John Sarantakos. When he was seven years old, he became interested in magic. He finished his education at East Meadow High School. Instead of attending college, he went on to pursue a career in magic.
