Career
Dave Joerger started his career as the general manager of the International Basketball Association’s Dakota Wizards. For the 2000–01 IBA season, he later took over as the team’s head coach in 1997. He collaborated with the Wizards, a group that formed the new Basketball Association by uniting IBA, IBL, and CBL franchises.
When Dave Joerger was in command of the Wizards, his record was 26-14. As a result of his success, he was elected CBA coach of the year. Due to his dedication to the team, they swept the Fargo-Moorhead Beez 3-0 in the conference final, giving him his first CBA championship victory.
