Dipika Kakar joined Jet Airways after receiving her bachelor’s degree and worked as a flight attendant there for nearly three years. She was, however, forced to leave her job due to health problems. She afterward became a part of the movie industry. She made her debut in the entertainment industry as Lakshmi in the television series “Neer Bhare Tere Naina Devi.”
