John Larroquette’s acting career was spent as the profane and womanizing lawyer Dan Fielding in Night Court for about ten years. John Larroquette met his wife in 1974 while developing the piece Enter Laughing.
The majority of his free time was spent leering at women or making advances toward Christine Sullivan, who was portrayed by Markie Post. John Larroquette won four Emmys between 1985 and 1988 for his portrayal of Fielding because he was so believable in the part. But, the actor is not at all like the character he plays in real life.
