Jofra began playing cricket for the West Indies Under-19 Team. After turning 19, he relocated to England to participate in the County Championship and establish himself.
He signed with the Sussex Cricket Team in 2016 and made his First Class debut. After a few weeks, Archer played in the Royal London One-Day Cup and made his List A debut.
He performed well in the tournament and was chosen to represent Khulna Titans in the 2017 Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).
