Career
Josh O’Connor’s first notable acting role was as a scarecrow in a school production of The Wizard of Oz when he was seven years old. This was followed by a supporting role in the film Bugsy Malone. He made his professional television debut in 2012’s Lewis as Charlie Stephenson and then appeared in Eschatological: Book Of The Dead as a zombie.
But in 2013 he had appearances in “The Magnificent Eleven” as Andy and “Law and Order: UK” as Rob Fellows. He performed the role of Dodd in The Wiper Times in addition to James in London Irish. In 2014, he played PC Bobby Grace in Ripper Street, James in Peaky Blinders, and Max in Hide & Seek.
