Nicholas Hoag is a Canadian male volleyball player Nicholas “Nick” Hoag plays the sport. Nicholas Hoag competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics, won gold and silver medals at the NORCECA Men’s Volleyball Championship in 2015 and 2013, and a bronze medal in the Pan American Games in 2015. He is a member of Canada’s men’s national volleyball team.

Career
Beginning his postsecondary education at the Team Canada Full-Time Training Center, Nicholas Hoag.
2013 saw Nick sign with the Tours VB French team. Nick contributed to the team’s two-year victories in the French Cup and French League.
Nick left the team to join Paris Volley for the 2015–16 season. For the ninth time in club history, he helped the team win the French League.
For the 2016–17 season, Nick joined the Italian Power Volley Milano squad. He is currently taking part in the 2020–21 season with Fenerbahce Hdi Sigorta in Turkey.
Nick played volleyball for the Canadian men’s junior national team from 2010 to 2011.
He helped the squad place second in the Junior NORCECA Championship in 2010 and finish in eleventh position at the 2011 U21 World Championship.
Nick helped the squad finish in fifth place in the 2013 Universiade.
Nick was selected for the Senior Men’s National Team in 2013. His seventh-place finish in the 2014 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship set a record for the national team and he was the team’s youngest player.
He helped the team earn gold in the 2015 Men’s NORCECA Volleyball Championship, silver at the 2013 Men’s NORCECA Volleyball Championship, and bronze at the 2015 Pan American Games.
Nick competed for the Olympic team that finished sixth in 2016. In June 2021, Hoag was selected for Canada’s Olympic team for 2020.
