When she was five years old, she had her singing debut at an amusement park. Her management by her father Matthew Knowles in 2001 marked the start of her professional career. She sang lead on the title song for the animated series “The Proud Family” that year, with Destiny Child providing backing vocals. She also appeared in several well-known tracks that year, including “Game Time,” a studio album by Lil Romeo, “Little Drummer Boy,” “8 Days of Christmas,” and as the backup singer for her sister girl singing duo Destiny Child.
She started working on her debut album, “Solo Star,” when she was just 14 years old.
