In high school, where he won multiple titles and championships, Steve Nash began his basketball career. He was selected in the 1996 NBA draft by the “Phoenix Suns” after graduating from college. Before being traded from the “Suns” to the “Mavericks” in 1998, when he established himself as a strong point guard and played the entire 1998–1999 season, he spent the first two NBA seasons as a supporting player. He played for the “Mavericks” up until 2004, at which point he signed a $63 million contract with the “Suns.”
He was the first player to achieve it while playing for the “Suns” in 2004–2005, winning the NBA MVP award. Steve joined the “Angeles Lakers” in 2012, however, a leg injury prevented him from participating in the 2012–13 season.
