When Arthur, alias Tab, met Henry Wilson through Dick Clayton, his adventure officially started! Wilson gave Arthur a new name: “Tab Hunter.” It took Hunter some time to get a big-budget movie. He played a minor role in “The Lawless.” As a result of the industry’s admiration for Tab’s work, he was chosen to play the lead in the following movie, “The Island of Desire.”
Tab was well-known for movies including The Steel Lady, Polyester, Wild Bill, Man with Two Faces, and Return to Treasure Island.
