When he was young, he had a guitar and even made one, which sparked his love of music. He founded On a Friday along with Jonny Greenwood, Colin Greenwood, Ed O’Brien, and Philip Selway while still in school. Thom spent a year working as a DJ after finishing high school. On a Friday became Radiohead after the group’s name was changed in 1991.
