Warren Dowdy Weeding and Janice Huff’s Married Life

A reputable and skilled weather forecaster is Janice Huff. She has worked as WNBC’s top meteorologist in New York since 1996. She married Warren Dowdy, a stock analyst, in the same year. Her parents’ wedding anniversary fell on the day of her wedding, which made it a special occasion as well.

Janice Huff’s earnings

As of 2023, Janice Huff’s net worth was roughly $6 million.

Huff and her husband had been friends since they were young.

The now-married Dowdy, a meteorologist, has known her since she was a young girl. When she first encountered him, she was eight years old. According to an interview Huff gave to New Jersey Monthly in March 2010, her husband and family resided next door to her in Morristown, New Jersey.

“I feel at home in New Jersey. I grew up next door to my husband, who is from Morristown, she said. In the summer, we used to visit my family. I met my husband in that way, and we have been together since I was eight years old. Her spouse Dowdy is said to be four years younger than her wife, who is now 60.

The Couple Was Alone for Almost 20 Years

Huff and her husband have known each other since they were young, but they went nearly 20 years without speaking to one another. The meteorologist stated to the New York Post on March 17, 2011, that she stopped going to see her family in Morristown after 1976.

But in 1995, out of nowhere, Dowdy got in touch with her and extended an invitation to his sister’s birthday celebration. After that meeting, they kept in touch. They fell in love and have been together ever since, whether it was fate or perhaps a coincidence.

They were married around Christmas.

The power couple got engaged in March 1996, just a year after they started dating. They eventually bought a house in Denville, which Marshall Watson Interiors helped them decorate. By October of that same year, they had also moved in together.

Once some time had gone, Dowdy thought about getting married, but Huff had other ideas. Following her example, they exchanged wedding vows in December 1996. During the span of a single weekend, the WNBC meteorologist arranged the wedding from start to finish. I did not want to wait, and neither did he. Hence, I organized every aspect of our wedding throughout a weekend, she told the New York Times in 2003.

The fact that Huff’s parents’ wedding anniversary fell on the same day as their wedding made it much more memorable. She refers to Hawaii as their “second home,” where they vacation when they are still legally married.
